New tools, new tech, new hype every day. Everything’s moving at full speed, and it feels like the world is flying off the rails. So who’s keeping it on track? That’s right — people. They’re the constant behind all the chaos, and this is where our company culture shows.
We talk a lot about AI and engagement, but the real magic happens when people write, design, test, and build with care. It’s the late-night messages, the sudden “aha!” moments, the quiet pride when a build goes green.
Let’s take a step back from the tech for a second and talk about the people who make it all move with their own rhythm.

On paper, we look pretty classic: nine departments and a clear hierarchy. Inside Trueplay, everything is built around products. Each product has a dedicated product manager and a designer responsible for the visual side and overall experience. Development runs in scrum teams, ships fast, and keeps quality high. Account managers stand at the edge of these teams, making sure we’re solving the right problems.
We put a lot of effort into cross-functional communication. Developers, designers, QA engineers, and product managers all focus on one mission.
Trueplay is international by design. Our people work across time zones and cultures — from Ukraine to Brazil — and this diversity shapes everything we do.
We respect differences and celebrate them through talks on communication styles, marking each other’s holidays, and sharing personal stories: about queer identity, veterans’ experiences, or indigenous perspectives. It helps us see beyond the screen.
Communication is the core infrastructure. Trust grows from the connections we create. It starts with onboarding that covers our values and goes beyond tools. Regular company-wide check-ins like the All Hands meeting help us stay on track and remind us of our purpose. Finally, our feedback culture keeps it all alive.
iGaming can be harsh on schedules. Priorities shift, markets evolve, and we adapt quickly. It’s intense and enjoyable. You’re always learning, experimenting, and seeing your ideas land in production.
Yes, we spend a lot of time on cross-functional communication. With an international team, understanding how different people work together really matters.
Rule of thumb, Trueplay style:
Everyone is working toward a shared goal, moving together like parts of a single, well-oiled mechanism. That’s Trueplay company culture in action.

We’re not afraid of being friends with innovation. We teach it to help, not to lead. Instead of fighting it, we focus on using it smartly: to optimize our work, not replace it.
Last year, instead of throwing our usual New Year’s Eve party, we pooled the budget to support causes that matter, like helping families, women, and children in need, veterans and, of course, animals looking for a home. That’s how we first connected with the Sirius dog shelter.
A one-off donation didn’t feel like enough, so we took it a step further and launched TrueDogs — a long-term project with Sirius, where our team helps more animals get adopted and encourages others to join in. Now, Trueplay has its own kennel, five official furry ambassadors, and a growing tradition of giving back.
👉 Check out TrueDogs on Instagram to meet Niko, Loya, Funnie, Boostie, and Copilius — and if their stories melt your heart even a little, become a donor and help Sirius give more dogs a second chance.
And while we’re talking about new projects — meet TrueTalks, our new way of putting faces to the names of people in the iGaming world and sharing their expertise, big ideas, and everything in between.
That’s how we get real about iGaming issues like player psychology, behavior patterns, leadership, international communication styles, inclusivity, and the intersection of creativity and data. Each episode, we bring in outside experts — psychologists, product managers, and HR pros — to challenge our views and back up our insights with science and real-world experience.
We started with behavioral scientist Patrick Fagan to break down how players form habits and why psychology matters for operators. Next up: HR, Gen Z, and inclusivity, then — creativity that moves the needle.
TrueTalks is about mutual learning, testing our assumptions, and earning trust through conversations that connect research, industry trends, and day-to-day reality.
As I mentioned, we move fast. If you are reading this and thinking Trueplay could be your kind of place, we’re hiring! Current openings include:
You can also meet our team in person at ICE Barcelona on January 19–21 at stand 1G48. Come chat, say hi, and see what we’re all about.
